I am Mikaela Keegan, a passionate author and advocate for inclusivity in children's literature. As a writer collaborating with Children With Disability New Zealand, I use my expertise as a special needs educator at Blomfield Special School to craft stories that inspire, educate, and foster understanding.
Drawing from my experience working closely with children with disabilities, I create engaging and meaningful books that raise awareness, challenge perceptions, and promote acceptance for all. My work is more than storytelling—it's a mission to ensure every child sees themselves represented and valued in the world of literature.

Hi, I’m Nikita, a mother of one and a proud neurodivergent storyteller.
As a parent, I know how important it is for children to see themselves reflected in the stories they read. That’s why I create books where every child can find a character they relate to, no matter their background, abilities, or experiences.
My stories are designed to empower kids to embrace who they are, while sparking their imagination and love for reading. I believe every child deserves to feel seen, heard, and valued — and I’m so excited to share these stories with you and your little ones!
